If
the external aspects of Religion are not as they might once have been,
don’t get upset, but consider it to be natural; whatever has a
beginning grows, flourishes for a while, then decays and dies. Why
should Religion be an exception?
Instead
of complaining so much about the representatives of Religion or its
state of decay, try to discover the purpose of Religion, and how it
might still be of use to you. What is on the outside is not always
indicative of what is on the inside.

Buddha-Dharma,
and Buddha-Dharma
is not Dharma,
but only an indicator.
