with the condition of the world, and all the crime, suffering and
injustice thereof, some of us say: "Well, what can I do? I am
nobody, and am not important." We thereby absolve ourselves of
any responsibility, and do nothing.
But is it really
true that, because we may not be rich, famous, or influential, we can
do nothing? Not really. Whether we intend to do anything or not, we are
doing something, merely by living on this planet. Each of us is

capacity
to
increase
or
decrease
the
suffering
in the
world.
